Direct
flights to the city of Medina from ten regions of Uzbekistan are organized
daily. In particular, flights are operated from Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan,
Ferghana, Samarkand, Karshi, Termez, Urgench, Nukus and Navoi. All flights are
operated by Fly Adeal Airline, according to Doone news agency.
Pilgrims
from Uzbekistan are accommodated at the Zam Zam Pullman Hotel in Medina, as
well as in a number of comfortable hotels in Mecca.
As part of
the Hajj-2026 season, it is planned to organize a pilgrimage for about 15
thousand citizens of the country.
In order to
coordinate and ensure order, a delegation led by Chairman of the Committee on
Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan Sodik Toshboev and Chairman of the Muslim
Board, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov arrived in Medina and were met at the
airport. They were given the opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions
created for the pilgrims.
All
organizational issues related to the Hajj-2026 season are coordinated by the
Consulate General in Jeddah and members of the working group of Uzbekistan
together with relevant organizations in Saudi Arabia.
