Today, on April 2, at 04:28:35, an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 occurred on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, near the city of Osh. Tremors were also felt on the territory of Uzbekistan.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the depth of the outbreak was 10 kilometers. The coordinates of the epicenter are 40.7° north latitude and 73.26° east longitude. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent was 345 kilometers in a southeasterly direction.
