Uzbek pilgrims were met at the Medina International Airport by diplomats led by Uzbek Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Nodirjon Turgunov, as well as representatives of the host country, the Dune news agency reports.

The pilgrims were taken to the hotels on modern comfortable buses, accompanied by police.

The group members expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for his attention and care, noting that the conditions created were a manifestation of high respect for the pilgrims.

The citizens also wished the head of state health and well-being, and also prayed for peace in the country, the well-being of the people and the further development of Uzbekistan.
