As part of
the visit program, a meeting was held with Abdullah bin Al Khamis, Director for
International Participants at EXPO 2030 Riyadh. The parties discussed the
location of the future national pavilion of Uzbekistan, its preliminary concept
and thematic area, as well as further stages of preparation for participation
in the exhibition.
The Saudi
side separately noted the high level of organization of the national pavilion
of Uzbekistan at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, giving a positive assessment of its
implementation.
During the
negotiations, special attention was paid to the further use of the pavilion
after the completion of the exhibition. The possibility of creating a permanent
platform on its basis for the promotion of cultural heritage, the development
of cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of cooperation between Uzbekistan
and Saudi Arabia is being considered.
