In a number of Russian yellow press publications, false information was published about the alleged violation by the crew of Uzbekistan Airways of the rules of maintaining the flight level during the flight "Samarkand - Moscow (Vnukovo)". Some Uzbek media outlets reprinted this information without proper verification, which led to a misconception among readers about what had happened.

    Uzbekistan Airways officially declares:

During the flight in the area of the Moscow air hub, the crew of the Uzbekistan Airways aircraft strictly followed the instructions of the air traffic control control service.

All flights were maintained in accordance with established rules and procedures; the necessary intervals between aircraft were observed.

The flight was completed on September 28, 2025, and not on September 29, as some sources mistakenly indicated.

There was no activation of the aircraft approach warning system.

There were no comments or complaints from the dispatchers of the Moscow air hub to the crew.

Uzbekistan Airways emphasizes that flight safety is the company's absolute priority. The airline's crews strictly comply with international aviation regulations and instructions from air traffic control authorities.
