According to the Decree, the Inspectorate for Control in the Sphere of Informatization and Telecommunications, operating under the Ministry of Digital Technologies, has been designated as the specially authorized state body in the following areas:
- Exercising state control in the fields of informatization, telecommunications, postal services, and digital technologies;
- Registering mass media and monitoring and controlling their compliance with the requirements of legislative acts;
- Protecting children from information harmful to their health.
By January 1, 2027, the "Digital Control" platform will be launched, with the following capabilities:
- Monitoring services provided in the fields of digital technologies and telecommunications in residential areas, including remote and hard-to-reach areas;
- Taking appropriate measures regarding interruptions or failures that occur in information systems, resources, software products, and databases;
- Organizing the prompt review of appeals received from individuals and legal entities.
