The resolution approved the parameters of the project “Taking urgent measures to counteract the coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Uzbekistan”. The aims of the project are to strengthen the health system to take urgent measures to counteract coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, expand the system of providing temporary benefits to low-income families and the unemployed during the period of quarantine measures.
The total project cost is 106,757.1 thousand US dollars.
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance are responsible for the targeted use of the loan of the International Development Association (IDA) and the effective implementation of the project.
Monitoring the effective use of credit is carried out by the relevant secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The list of medical devices, medical equipment and equipment purchased under the Project to strengthen the material and technical base of medical institutions will be approved.
Target and targeted use, as well as timely payment of social benefits within the framework of the Project, will be ensured.
