Under the new regulations, there is a significant difference in fares depending on the payment method: the fare will be 3,000 sums when paid in cash, but only 2,000 sums via electronic payment.
The implementation will take place in two stages:
The first stage begins on February 1, 2026, covering bus routes No. 1, 2, 5, 10, 17B, 19, and 33. These routes connect major city locations, including the central bus station, Sitora bazar, the airport and the Mokhi Khosa sanatorium.
The second stage will take effect on April 1, 2026. From this date, all existing bus routes in the city are planned to accept payments exclusively in electronic form. This measure aims to ensure financial transparency in public transport and save passengers' time.
