More than 220 parliamentarians from 50 OSCE participating States and cooperation partners were represented at the event.

The session included a meeting of the Standing Committee, as well as a parliamentary conference: "OSCE in times of crisis: the role of the Parliamentary Assembly in responding to internal and external challenges." During the session, issues related to the settlement of conflicts in the OSCE area, the fight against corruption, the protection of human rights, and the exchange of experience in the organization of elections were discussed.

In addition, during the session, parliamentarians heard reports from the leadership of the Parliamentary Assembly and OSCE institutions, and considered the interim results of the Assembly's work in 2023.

Within the framework of the parliamentary conference, speeches and reports were made by members of the delegation, who informed about the measures taken in Uzbekistan in the field of combating gender-based violence, about the implementation of Mehr programs for the return to their homeland of women and children affected by the activities of terrorist organizations, their integration into society, as well as the fight against corruption in the country.

During the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan, a number of bilateral meetings were held with the leadership of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, during which the current state and prospects of cooperation between our country within the OSCE PA were discussed.

The representatives of the OSCE PA highly appreciated the level of interaction, the active position of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the Assembly and expressed their readiness to continue to provide comprehensive assistance in the implementation of socio-political and socio-economic transformations, strengthening civil society institutions.
