It was noted that the Yuksalish Movement develops international cooperation, expands joint projects with foreign partners, including Chinese companies. In particular, within the framework of the "Bir million darakht" ("One million trees") campaign, a partnership has been established with Huawei. A memorandum of cooperation was recently signed with Hisense in support of the Urban Wave initiative.
The Chairman of the OND Yuksalish announced a number of proposals for further expansion of interaction with academic and business communities, with media and civil society institutions of the People's Republic of China. Among them:
creation of green zones (parks, arboretums) in Uzbekistan and their sustainable development based on China's experience in solving environmental problems and landscaping;
establishing and developing contacts between the twin cities of Uzbekistan and China;
implementation of projects involving innovative approaches to solving problems at different levels.
During the talks, the Chinese Ambassador to our country, Ms. Jiang Yan, expressed interest in these areas. In particular, with regard to the development of green zones, she suggested considering the possibility of creating a Chinese-Uzbek Friendship Park or a Park of the SCO countries, which will combine ecological, political, economic and cultural diversity, reflect their sustainable development.
At the same time, the Ambassador considers it appropriate to hold a joint event on the role of youth in poverty reduction and "green development" with the involvement of Chinese companies. There are about 2 thousand enterprises with Chinese capital operating in Uzbekistan. In this regard, the issue of organizing a cycle of meetings with them for OND "Yuksalish" will be worked out.
Following the talks held in a constructive manner, the Chinese Ambassador expressed readiness to develop cooperation with the Yuksalish movement in areas of mutual interest.
