The Regional Department of Ecology issued an official statement regarding the situation.
During the inspection, it was revealed that the asphalt production plant owned by “Sarmazortrans” LLC, located in the “Yashnobod” neighborhood of Kiziltepa district, had been operating in violation of environmental requirements.
It was established that the enterprise, in breach of laws aimed at protecting nature, had been operating without a positive environmental impact assessment and without using dust and gas cleaning equipment designed to capture air pollutants.
In connection with this violation, appropriate measures were taken against the person responsible, and the plant was temporarily shut down for 10 days until the shortcomings are addressed.
