The Press Service of the Fergana Regional Internal Affairs Bureau's Road Safety Department reported this incident.
It is noted that on January 19, 2026, around 9:00 PM, a traffic accident occurred in a small mountain gorge in the "Yordon" neighborhood of the Fergana district—an area not designed for vehicle movement.
Reportedly, the driver, A.A. (born in 1981), was unauthorized driving a "Captiva" vehicle when he lost control due to the snow-covered and slippery conditions, causing the car to overturn.
As a result, the driver was hospitalized with a diagnosis of "closed brain injury and coma." Despite receiving medical assistance, he passed away.
An investigation into the case is currently being conducted in the established manner.
