The unit
will consist of about 10-15 ground robots and about 60 drones, whose actions
will be coordinated by a small group of soldiers using the C2 Pendragon
artificial intelligence system.
In
addition to transporting ammunition and necessary supplies, the robots are also
designed for other missions equipped with machine guns or heat-seeking
missiles. Drones will be used for long-term reconnaissance and attack missions
armed with explosives.
The ground
robots weigh 2-3 tons, and most of them are wheeled platforms powered by
internal combustion engines. One of the goals of the Pendragon project is to
keep the cost of the robot unit at around 10 million euros, reported by report.az.
