The parties paid special attention to the timely implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level, including bringing the volume of mutual trade turnover to 10 billion US dollars.
It was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have reached an unprecedented level in recent years, last year a Declaration on allied Relations was signed.
In this context, the readiness of the parties to mobilize all efforts to further deepen close cooperation in all spheres without exception was confirmed.
During the conversation, the huge untapped potential of transport links between the two countries, international transit opportunities in Central Asia, cooperation in the fields of food security, academic exchange and knowledge exchange, ensuring sustainable development, regional prosperity and security were also discussed.
Following the meeting, the foreign ministers signed a program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for 2024-2025, aimed at enriching bilateral ties with tangible results.
