Investments in the Uzbek economy have increased 2.8 times over the past five years

    According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, 443.6 trillion soums of investments in fixed assets were allocated to the development of the economy and social sphere of Uzbekistan from all sources of financing.

    Compared to the same period in 2024, this figure increased by 15.2%, and has increased 2.8 times over the past five years.

    During the reporting period, the volume of disbursed foreign investments and loans amounted to 34.5 billion US dollars.

    The following industries accounted for the largest share of foreign investments and loans:

    Manufacturing industry - 32.9%;

    Electricity and gas supply - 18.4%;

    Mining industry - 12.2%;

    Agriculture - 9.1%;

    Water supply and sewerage - 1.8%;

    Construction - 6.1%;

    Transportation and storage - 5.3%;

    Information and communication - 0.9%;

    Healthcare - 1.7%;

    Other activities - 11.6%.

    The increase in investment activity reflects the continued strengthening of the country's economic potential and the increasing attractiveness of Uzbekistan for domestic and foreign investors.
