According to the diplomatic mission, the detention and subsequent deportation of the Turkish tourists were carried out in cooperation with law enforcement agencies of the two countries. A woman accused of committing a crime related to human trafficking has been put on the wanted list by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Citizens affected by the actions of the detainee were asked to report this to the Consulate General in Istanbul, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan or its subordinate systems.
