Women's entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan has been highly appreciated at the international level

    The annual competition "The Power of Women's Entrepreneurship", traditionally organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, was held in the Turkish capital.

    The event was attended by a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, which also held a number of important meetings and negotiations aimed at further strengthening business ties between the two countries.

    At the opening ceremony, Turkish Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services Mahinur Ozdemir Göktash noted the importance of supporting women's entrepreneurship, increasing women's economic activity, as well as implementing new programs aimed at their broad involvement in economic activities.

    Uzbek companies participating in the prestigious event in Ankara received high marks and won in two nominations.

    Artatex company (Khorezm region) was recognized as the winner in the nomination "The company with the largest increase in women's employment". The company is successfully expanding its activities both in the domestic and international markets, demonstrating significant results in job creation, primarily for women.

    Miss Lighting company (Tashkent region) won in the nomination "The most dynamically developing company with the participation of women entrepreneurs". The organization stood out for its high growth rates in a short time, innovative approach and strategy aimed at further increasing the participation of women in production and management processes.

    Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarciklioglu stressed that the successes achieved clearly reflect the results of large-scale reforms, support mechanisms and consistent state policy of Uzbekistan in the field of women's entrepreneurship development.

    Within the framework of the event, the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held meetings with regional business associations and chambers of commerce and industry of Turkey. During the talks, issues of promoting the development of women's entrepreneurship, increasing employment, implementing joint business initiatives, investment projects, as well as expanding cooperation in the field of exports were discussed.

    The parties expressed their willingness to further strengthen cooperation by agreeing to support joint training programs, develop export channels for products, support startup initiatives, and regularly hold women's business forums between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
