According to the Jizzakh Regional Internal Affairs Bureau press service, the inspector stopped drivers at a checkpoint in the Gallaorol district. His primary tools were fake results on the device and the drivers' lack of legal knowledge.

According to the details, the inspector stopped a Lacetti driver for inspection. The officer deceived drivers by claiming the breathalyzer could detect alcohol consumed within the last 72 hours (3 days). Even though the driver claimed he had not been drinking, the officer showed him a "positive" result.

The officer demanded 1 million sums to avoid filing an official report. The driver, left with no choice, transferred 500,000 sums to a bank card provided by the inspector.

The investigation revealed an interesting fact: the bank card belonged to an employee of a nearby impound lot. This 48-year-old citizen united with the inspector to help collect criminal proceeds.

The internal investigation has now been completed. The documents have been submitted to the prosecutor's office to legally evaluate the officer's actions and decide on initiating a criminal case.
