The Head of state got acquainted with the vocational guidance center’s activities, which opened in Samarkand Darvoza mahalla. Here, young people and women are trained in modern professions in trade, marketing, finance, and information technology. In the future, graduates will be assisted in finding a high-paying job. The area around the center is landscaped, and grapes are planted.
Measures to reduce poverty and ensure people’s employment were presented. It was proposed to encourage entrepreneurs to create new jobs at a meeting on these issues held on May 10.
For example, 51 mahallas are located in Shaykhontokhur district. There are more than 100 entrepreneurs with high potential. Based on the contract, the unemployed are assigned to them in the mahalla. The state will create conditions, and entrepreneurs will train the population in professions and provide jobs.
“It is beneficial for both sides”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted. – Many entrepreneurs want to expand their activities. Everyone needs qualified workers. We aim to let enterprises turn into practical mono-centers and train specialists. The state will provide the necessary infrastructure, financial and tax benefits. Due to the increase in jobs and the growth of the population’s purchasing power, these investments will eventually return to the economy. Most importantly, this practice will allow young people to acquire a profession and become a school of life.
Proposals on the use of Shaykhontokhur district’s tourism potential were also considered during the presentation. It was noted that the district hokims should study the experience of South Korea, Singapore, and other countries.
The Head of state also visited the sports and recreation complex of the center, which has an indoor swimming pool and a gym.
