As
previously reported, the short film titled "Qadam. Quyosh bolasi Yusuf", produced by Uzbek
filmmakers, won the highest award at this prestigious festival, which was held
in conjunction with the renowned Cannes Film Festival.
This
historic achievement was highly recognized by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who
signed a decree to honor the young creators. In accordance with the decree, the
Grand Prix winners were awarded the "Kelajak
Bunyodkori" medal.
The
welcoming ceremony, held on May 20,
was attended by the Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov, representatives of
the Presidential Administration, prominent figures of culture and arts,
representatives of state and public organizations, film enthusiasts, and
members of the media.
During the
event, film directors Sukhrob Kodirov
and Dilshodbek Usmonov, who were
awarded the "Kelajak Bunyodkori" medal, were ceremoniously presented
with their awards.
