China plans to increase the frequency of flights to Uzbekistan

    Uzbekistan Airports has held talks with the Chinese airline China Southern Airlines. During the meeting, issues of further development of cooperation, the possibility of increasing existing frequencies and opening new destinations to airports in Uzbekistan were discussed.

    The carrier is considering increasing the frequencies of existing destinations to seven times a week.

    Currently, China Southern Airlines operates flights from Tashkent to Beijing (4 times a week) and from Tashkent to Urumqi (5 times a week). Uzbekistan Airports also proposed to develop new routes to Chinese cities from the airports of the Ferghana Valley - Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana.
