According to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, the first plane from Almaty was greeted with a traditional water arch, and on the apron the crew was warmly welcomed by the airport management, air spotters and invited guests.
Regular flights on the Samarkand - Almaty route will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
