As previously reported, on June 3, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Uzbek-Chinese Faculty of Transport took place at Tashkent State Transport University. As part of the event, the university was visited by a delegation from Shengxi Province led by Governor Zhao Gang and the leadership of Chang'an University.

Today, this meeting and long-term negotiations have yielded a practical result: the government of Shengxi Province has provided Tashkent State Transport University with educational grants, thanks to which the youth of Uzbekistan will be able to study at Chang'an University.

The total amount of the grant is 13 million yuan (approximately 1.8 million US dollars). It covers 10 PhD-level students, 40 undergraduates and 60 bachelors. Educational programs will be implemented according to the "1+1" models for master's degree and "2+2" for bachelor's degree.

This grant project is an important result of educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. It gives the youth of our country access to international experience, modern knowledge and a prestigious diploma.
