A company from the UAE is interested in implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan

    Uzbek diplomats met with Ajmal Sharafuddin, Executive Director of MBS Global Investments of the United Arab Emirates.

    During the meeting, Ambassador Abdulaziz Akkulov spoke in detail about the socio-economic reforms being implemented in our country, the conditions created for foreign investors, the proposed investment projects, in particular domestic and imported pharmaceutical products, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.

    There was also a presentation on the current investment environment in Uzbekistan, reforms to protect investors' rights by legislation, as well as a program of projects to be implemented on the basis of public-private partnership until 2030.

    The representative of the UAE expressed interest in supplying pharmaceutical products together with the Julphar company and said that at the first stage, medicines rare in medicine will be supplied to the Uzbek market from the company's production points in India, and a project for their production in Uzbekistan will be implemented.

    The Emirati side also noted that it fully supports the large-scale reforms being implemented in the economy of Uzbekistan, and that there is interest in implementing promising infrastructure projects in our country. In this regard, the company has been invited to participate in the Tashkent- Andijan toll road construction project.

    Following the negotiations, it was agreed that representatives of this company will visit our country in November to familiarize themselves with the proposed projects and the privatization program adopted in Uzbekistan.
