Scientists predict prolonged geomagnetic disturbances on Earth from April 2 to April 25, caused by five Class M solar flares.
A weak magnetic storm of the 3rd level on a nine-point scale is expected on April 2.
On April 4, after 21:00, the intensity will increase to level 5 (moderate storm).
On April 5, the level of geomagnetic disturbances will decrease to level 3, and on April 6, from 21:00, it will rise again to level 4 (small storm).
From April 7-9, the disturbance of the Earth's geomagnetic field will reach level 6 (severe storm), then decrease to level 5 and maintain these values until the evening of April 11.
From April 12 to 13, the storm will reach level 5 again, and then decrease to level 3 by the evening of April 15.
On April 18, geomagnetic disturbances are expected to return to level 4, which will persist until 21:00 on April 25, after which activity will subside.
Magnetic storms mainly affect people with chronic diseases, hypertension, and vascular problems. Doctors advise on such days to avoid physical exertion, eat light food and monitor blood pressure.
