Amendments have
been made to the Code of Administrative Responsibility under Law No. LRU-1118.
In accordance with the new regulations, liability has been increased for the
following offenses:
Performing
international transport or intercity trips of 400 km or more without a tachograph;
Using a faulty or
disabled tachograph;
Driving without a
valid tachograph card;
Non-compliance by
drivers with established work and rest schedules.
A fine in the
amount of 7 times the Base Calculating
Amount (BCA) has been set for these violations. The new law will come
into force on May 10, 2026.
According to
experts, these measures will serve to ensure road safety, prevent driver exhaustion,
and reduce the number of road traffic accidents.
