During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of preschool education, as well as a wide range of issues related to the organization and holding of the "Second World Conference on the Upbringing and Education of Young Children", which will be held in Tashkent in November this year.

In his opening speech, Mr. Olgan Bekar emphasized that the Republic of Turkey, against the background of the implementation of the new development strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will always support the initiatives of the President of the Republic in all his endeavors, including in the preschool education system. Since, according to the Ambassador, education is a key factor in the development of any state.

According to the Ambassador, the bilateral and multilateral meetings of the Heads of our States are a vivid confirmation of the positive dynamics of the growth of cooperation between our countries. In particular, the official visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Uzbekistan in March of this year was separately noted, where, following the negotiations, a joint statement was signed on raising the status of relations between the two countries to a "comprehensive strategic partnership" and 10 documents on cooperation in the economic and social sphere.

At the same time, it was emphasized that a clear example of the development of multilateral cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Uzbekistan was the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkey at the meeting of the Samarkand SCO Summit, which was held in November this year in Samarkand, where during the meeting the leaders of the two countries exchanged views on the activation of multifaceted Uzbek-Turkish cooperation based on mutual respect, friendship and trust.

Mr. Olgan Bekar also showed great interest in the organization and holding of the "Second World Conference on the Upbringing and Education of Young Children", which will be held under the auspices of UNESCO in Tashkent from November 14 to 16 this year. According to the Ambassador, the Republic of Turkey will take an active part and make an appropriate contribution to any joint efforts within the framework of the upcoming international forum.

During the meeting, the parties expressed interest in implementing joint projects in the field of healthy nutrition and inclusive education, the press service of the Ministry of Preschool Education reports.
