One of the final meetings of the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Aziz Kudratov on the sidelines of the event was negotiations with the Secretary of Economic Relations of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Shahriyar Kader Siddiqui.
Since the beginning of the year, mutual trade between the two countries has grown by 43%. 45 new enterprises were opened.
In this context, the parties outlined a number of comprehensive measures to increase the volume of cooperation. Among the main ones: the signing of a roadmap to increase agricultural exports to $ 100 million in the coming years, the development of a draft agreement on the prevention of double taxation and the opening of exhibitions of national products of the two countries on a mutual basis.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the organizational aspects of holding the next 4th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for the timely implementation of all discussed issues and a business forum with the participation of business circles of the two countries.
