    113 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been injured at protests in Tbilisi in recent days

    More than 100 law enforcement officers have been injured in recent days in Tbilisi due to the actions of protesters, including more than 20 on the last night.

    According to the Report, this is stated in the message of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

    The ministry noted that as a result of the violent actions of the participants of the action on December 1-2, 21 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were injured, they are receiving medical assistance.

    "In recent days, 113 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been injured in the actions, four of whom remain in the clinic," the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

    During the rally at the Georgian Parliament, which began the night before and is still ongoing, protesters threw stones, set on fire objects, glass bottles and metal objects at police, as well as used pyrotechnics.

    "The Ministry of Internal Affairs once again calls on the protesters to protest peacefully, illegal actions will be stopped by the police," the ministry added.
