Media: All those on board the Turkish plane that crashed in Georgia were killed

    As a result of the crash of a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft in Georgia, all on board were killed.

    This is reported by AnewZ correspondent Nini Nikoleishvili from the scene of the incident in the Georgian municipality of Sighnaghi, near the border with Azerbaijan.

    The report says that according to verified data, all 20 people on board the crashed aircraft were killed.

    "The plane took off from Ganja airport at 14:19 local time, after some time it disappeared from radar without giving an alarm. The wreckage (of the plane) is scattered on steep slopes near the monastery of Kholagiri, they were first discovered by local residents. Search and rescue teams and helicopters are working in difficult terrain in conditions of poor visibility," the report says.

    It is noted that a criminal investigation has been initiated in Georgia in connection with a possible violation of aviation security. The work is being carried out in coordination and with the direct support of Turkey and Azerbaijan.

    It should be noted that on November 11, a C-130 plane heading to Turkey from Azerbaijan crashed on the territory of Georgia. There were 20 military personnel on board.
