Namangan hosts International Flower Festival

    The 60th International Flower Festival has kicked off in Namangan region, at the Park of Culture and Recreation named after Muhammad Zakhiriddin Babur.

    Starting this year, the festival has been given an international status. The main events of the festival began with a festive auto parade. The flower festival, which has become an international brand of Namangan, is attended by guests from Central Asia and other foreign countries. Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan and delegations from partner regions of Namangan are taking part in the holiday.

    Master florists, amateur gardeners of enterprises, agencies and organizations have created more than 100 compositions at the exhibition. Flowers from foreign countries, Tashkent, neighboring Andijan and Fergana regions are presented here.

    The cultural program of the festival includes numerous entertainment events. An exhibition of handicraft products, book rows, a photo exhibition, defile of national costumes, poetry competitions and other competitions will be organized.

    According to the organizers, following the festival, the most active participants will receive valuable gifts.

    The flower festival in Namangan, which has become traditional since 1961, will last until May 31, inform UzA.
