New resident airlines of Uzbekistan will start flights to South Korea

    The delegation of the Ministry of Transport, accompanied by representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, held talks with the Korean Aviation Administration in Seoul.

    For information: the last consultations between the aviation governments of the two countries took place in 2018, according to which the number of flights between the two countries was set at 10 per week for the airlines of each side, and 2 airlines from each side were granted the right to operate flights.

    During the talks, issues of developing cooperation between the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Korea, lifting restrictions on the number of designated airlines, granting them appropriate flight rights, increasing the number of flights between the two countries, and expanding geography were discussed. flights were discussed.

    At the meeting, it was announced that flights between the two countries will be operated by Uzbekistan Airways, as well as new resident airlines established by Uzbekistan (Qanot Sharq, My Freighter, Air Samarkand).
