On Tuesday, September 2, a new academic year will begin in all secondary schools of the republic.

The first lesson will be held under the motto "For the Motherland, for the nation, for the people!" and will be organized in the format of a thematic lesson "The Hour of the Future."

According to the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, this year for the first time more than 738 thousand first-graders will sit at school desks. They will be solemnly presented with the traditional "Gift of the President", which includes 12 types of school supplies.

For reference: for lyceum students and first-year students of higher educational institutions, the new academic year begins on September 3, for senior students - on September 8.
