This important and prestigious event, held annually under the patronage of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, gathers participants from all over the world to discuss current issues in the fields of education, economics, technology, as well as the search for innovative solutions to these issues.
It is noteworthy that Uzbekistan became the only Central Asian country invited to this event.
On the first day of the forum, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank signed a grant agreement worth 40 million US dollars.
"At the meeting with the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Muhammad Al-Jassir, it was emphasized that the IDB is pleased to be a reliable partner of the government of Uzbekistan in its efforts to create better educational opportunities for future generations," Hilola Umarova, Minister of Preschool and School Education, said in her telegram channel. "Following the meeting, a grant agreement in the field of education was signed with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE)."
The main directions of this project are: the construction of 58 new inclusive schools throughout the republic, equipping schools with modern equipment, teacher training programs, the development of inclusive education, improving curricula and improving the quality of preschool education.
