At the reception, the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah, and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Sabah conveyed the sincerest congratulations of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was noted that all opportunities will be used to further expand the multifaceted cooperation between the regions and bring Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations to a new level.

During the visit, meetings were held with officials of the country and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asia and the Arab States of the Gulf.

He also participated in the third strategic dialogue of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Central Asia – the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The meeting discussed topical issues on the agenda and effective ways to bring the growing cooperation to a new level. In particular, it was noted that the summit, which will be held on May 5 in Samarkand, will be an important stage in expanding ties between the regions.

At the meeting with the Minister of State for Diwan Affairs of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, special attention was paid to further strengthening Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations, enhancing mutually beneficial ties, and filling agreements with concrete results that serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

The talks with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, focused on the organization of the upcoming high-level Central Asia-Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Samarkand, as well as issues of creating a broad framework for more lasting and promising cooperation.

A meeting was also held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. An agreement was reached to deepen Uzbek-Bahraini cooperation in the diplomatic, trade and investment spheres, and to continue contacts at the highest and highest levels, including within the framework of the upcoming Summit in Samarkand.
