Prospects for further strengthening of Uzbek-Korean relations in the field of preschool education were discussed

    On April 12, 2022, at the initiative of the Korean side, the Minister of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Agrippina Shin, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Kim Hee-sang, at the Ministry of Preschool Education.

    During the conversation, the current state and prospects for further strengthening of Uzbek-Korean relations in the field of preschool education were discussed.

    In his opening speech, the head of the Korean delegation emphasized that the Korean side is striving to build capacity in promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of preschool education.

    According to the guest, the strengthening of cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea is an important condition for the implementation of ongoing projects between the states, in particular in the field of preschool education.

    It was stressed that against the background of the growing attention of the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the issues of preschool education, the Korean side will provide all possible assistance to the Republic of Uzbekistan in this area, in particular in the implementation of the KOIKA project for the construction of an Integrated center for training, training and development of personnel and an innovative state preschool educational organization in the city of Tashkent.

    For his part, Mr. Kim Hee-sang expressed readiness to assist the MDO of the Republic of Uzbekistan in establishing relations between the Korean children's educational television channel EBS and the Uzbek TV channel Aqlvoy. In particular, Mr. Kim Hee-sang promised to make sure that a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the TV channels, and children living in the Republic of Uzbekistan had the opportunity to watch a variety of educational animated films.

    Following the talks, the parties reached an agreement on continuing joint work in the development of the educational process in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Uzbekistan reports.
