During the meeting, the prospects of inter-parliamentary relations between Uzbekistan and Egypt were discussed. It was emphasized that Egypt is one of Uzbekistan's reliable partners in the Middle East, and the historical, cultural and traditional ties between the peoples of the two countries serve as a solid foundation for further strengthening cooperation.

The importance of strengthening parliamentary control in terms of ensuring the effective implementation of large-scale agreements reached at the level of heads of state was noted.

Attention was focused on deepening cooperation between the Senates of the parliaments of the two countries, intensifying the activities of the parliamentary friendship groups of Uzbekistan and Egypt, as well as organizing joint events.

There was also talk about improving the legislative framework in order to promote bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.
