The meeting was attended by heads of interested ministries and departments, sectoral associations, local authorities.

The progress of implementation of specific tasks defined in the Protocol on the establishment of the "Uzbek-Turkmen Border Trade Zone - Shopping Center", signed within the framework of the state visit of the Head of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan in October this year, was analyzed in detail.

Reports of the responsible heads of the Working Groups on resolving issues related to the allocation of a land plot of 3 hectares in the Shavatsky district of Khorezm region, the development and coordination of design and estimate documentation with all interested ministries and departments, attracting the opportunities of commercial banks to finance the project were heard. Responsible managers were given targeted instructions to ensure high-quality and timely implementation of each stage of the project with the establishment of control over the implementation of tasks.

Aspects of interaction with the Turkmen side within the framework of coordination of working hours of the Trade Center, application of benefits and preferences in tax administration, customs and border control were discussed. The need for consistent and high-quality joint study of issues arising during the implementation of the project was emphasized.
