In
particular, representatives of the Waste Management and Circular Economy
Development Agency held meetings with officials from several major
international organizations and companies, emphasizing the importance of
collaborative measures between Central Asian and foreign states in the field of
waste management.
Concurrently,
as a result of the conducted meetings, a Head of Terms agreement was signed
between Sharifbek Hasanov, Director of the Waste Management and Circular
Economy Development Agency, Omar Almidani, President of Saudi Arabia’s
"VISION INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPANY", and Silvere Delaunay, CEO
for Europe and Central Asia of France’s "SUEZ INTERNATIONAL" company.
This
project envisions cooperation on hazardous waste recycling and has a total
value of 78 million US dollars.
It is
worth noting that the forum, which gathered over 10,000 delegates and
participants from more than 100 countries, was significant due to its
ever-growing international prestige and the strengthening confidence of the
international community in the reforms being implemented in our country.
