At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the President of Uzbekistan from the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalid Al Nahyan.
Current issues of supporting and promoting joint trade, economic and investment cooperation projects were discussed.
The dynamic development of partnerships in priority sectors of the economy was noted with satisfaction. The volume of trade turnover, the number of joint ventures, and the frequency of direct flights are growing. The portfolio of projects involving leading companies from the two countries reached $4 billion.
Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of large projects in energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, water supply, and others.
