The distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and sincere wishes from King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan to the President of Uzbekistan.

Current issues related to the development of the comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and Jordan were discussed in the context of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level last year in Samarkand.

Intensive bilateral contacts and exchanges were noted with satisfaction. The volumes of mutual trade and the number of joint ventures continue to grow.

The importance of intensifying the activities of the established parliamentary friendship groups, based on a roadmap, and strengthening their role in ensuring the effective implementation of agreements between the two heads of state was emphasized.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing interaction in trade, industrial cooperation, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

In this context, the need was highlighted for the effective holding of the upcoming first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum of leading companies in Tashkent this year.

Views were also exchanged on the current international and regional agenda.
