Ilham Aliyev thanked the Leader of Uzbekistan for the invitation to take part in the Consultative Meeting.

In turn, the President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the President and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan on the fifth anniversary of Victory, celebrated on 8 October this year.

Issues of developing and strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were discussed in the context of implementing the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan in July of this year.

Fruitful exchanges at all levels are continuing.

Since the beginning of the year, trade turnover has increased by 15 percent. Joint industrial cooperation projects in the automotive industry, energy, tourism, and other sectors are in an active phase.

The leaders also reviewed the schedule of upcoming high-level meetings and events.
