Current issues of the bilateral economic agenda were discussed.

The Head of state welcomed the successful organization and holding of the “Innoprom” forum with the participation of over 5,000 business representatives from 35 countries.

The main attention was paid to maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover and deepening industrial cooperation in priority sectors of the economy.

The broad opportunities for further development of practical partnership between the regions of the two countries and saturation of the interaction agenda with specific projects were noted. The launching of a technology park in Jizzakh region this week was mentioned as an example.

The importance of accelerating the preparation and implementation of investment projects within the framework of the Project Office's activities, including in such areas as energy, mechanical engineering, agriculture, textile industry, pharmaceuticals and other industries, was emphasized.

The interest in the introduction of Russian experience in supporting industrial production and the need for strengthening institutional mechanisms for promoting joint projects were also noted.
