The expansion of practical cooperation and acceleration of priority joint projects were discussed.

The President of Uzbekistan expressed deep satisfaction with the dynamic development of a productive partnership with ACWA Power, which is a strategic investor in Uzbekistan’s green energy sector.

Today, a launch ceremony was held for several joint projects: four wind power plants with a total capacity of 752 megawatts were connected to the grid, and construction began on five power plants with a combined capacity of 2.3 gigawatts, as well as a 300-megawatt energy storage system in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Bukhara region.

In addition, work commenced on the construction of a 500-kilovolt transmission line totaling 1,790 kilometers, connecting Samarkand and Tashkent regions, as well as the Republic of Karakalpakstan with Bukhara region.

At the meeting, particular attention was given to advancing cooperation projects in modernizing energy and transport infrastructure, developing information and communication technologies, healthcare, agriculture, and other sectors.
