The head of the Chinese delegation conveyed to the Leader of Uzbekistan warm greetings and best wishes from the President of China Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council Li Qiang.
Current issues of further developing multifaceted cooperation and deepening all-weather strategic partnership were discussed. The progress in implementing the agreements reached following the high-level visit to China in January this year was analyzed.
In this context, the fruitful results of the Committee’s activities, the steady growth in trade turnover and attracted investments, the increase in the frequency of regular flights, and the active holding of cultural events were noted with satisfaction.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of ensuring balanced trade indicators and creating favorable conditions for access of domestic products to the Chinese market, accelerating the implementation of important investment projects in strategic sectors of the economy, enhancing regional cooperation, and implementing humanitarian, educational, and tourism programs.
In addition, aspects of the early start of the practical phase of work on the project to construct the China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan railway were discussed.
