The Presidents exchanged sincere congratulations on the upcoming New Year, as well as wishes of peace, wellbeing and further prosperity to the two fraternal peoples.

Acting President Talant Mamytov expressed deep gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the great support and practical assistance in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, including the implemented projects for the construction of mobile medical centers in the regions of Kyrgyzstan.

Current issues of consistent strengthening of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan friendship, good-neighborliness and multifaceted partnership were also discussed.

The importance of promoting key aspects of bilateral agenda, primarily in trade, economy and industrial cooperation, and development of regional transport corridors was noted.

Following the conversation, the President of Uzbekistan wished successful conduction of important political events in Kyrgyzstan at the beginning of 2021.
