The parties discussed pressing issues related to the expansion of strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.

This year, political consultations and the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission were successfully held. Business contacts have intensified, and the number of joint ventures has tripled.
The ways to increase trade and investment volumes and expand industrial cooperation projects in key sectors were discussed.
An agreement was reached to boost supplies of textile, leather, fruit and vegetables, and other high-demand products from Uzbekistan, and of rubber, automotive components, pharmaceutical products, and other industrial goods from Slovakia. To this end, the sides plan to organize national product exhibitions and open trade houses.
Special emphasis was placed on digitalization. The proposal was to establish a joint center for monitoring cybersecurity in the banking sector and for implementing advanced cargo-tracking systems.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to enhance cooperation with Slovak businesses in the production of automotive components, dairy products, and other promising areas.
The parties reviewed prospects for enhancing humanitarian and educational exchanges. It was proposed to hold the first Forum of Rectors of the two countries in Bratislava in 2026, as well as to organize tourism exhibitions and reciprocal Tourism Days. The issue of establishing organized labor migration mechanisms was also discussed.
Views were exchanged on matters of mutual support in multilateral platforms and on current regional and international issues.
