The Leader of Tajikistan cordially congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing peace, prosperity and great success.

Views were exchanged on the current bilateral agenda, as well as on issues of regional interaction.

The importance of the timely practical implementation of the roadmap for the implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of the President of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan on June 2-3 this year was noted. The main attention was paid to the acceleration of cooperation projects, primarily in the energy sector.

Issues of preparation for the Samarkand Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in September this year were discussed.
