At the beginning of his remarks, the President of Uzbekistan expressed sincere gratitude to his Turkish counterpart for the warm hospitality and the fruitful negotiations within the council.

It was noted that modern Türkiye is achieving remarkable success in all spheres and enjoys well-deserved prestige not only in the Muslim world but also on the global stage.

It was emphasized with satisfaction that friendship and a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years.

Last year, bilateral trade volume exceeded $3 billion. The number of joint ventures reached 2,200, and the total volume of utilized investments amounted to about $10 billion.

About 100 flights are operated weekly between the two countries. A $9 billion portfolio of projects has been formed, with participation from leading Turkish companies.

Decisions were taken to hold regular council meetings and to effectively utilize the mechanisms of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Strategic Planning Group.

The practice of mutual support among reputable international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of Turkic States, and others, will continue.

The leaders agreed to take practical measures to increase trade volume to $5 billion, including expanding the range of goods covered by the Preferential Trade Agreement and strengthening industrial cooperation in priority sectors of the economy.

Particular attention was also paid to expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange, including joint theater and film weeks, art exhibitions, and the development of pilgrimage tourism.

It was noted that following the council meeting, the governments of the two countries will adopt a comprehensive roadmap to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the agreements reached.
