The First Lady of Uzbekistan took part in cultural events in China

    On September 1, cultural events were held in Tianjin as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit with the participation of the spouses of heads of State and Government.

    The wife of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, together with the wife of the President of the People's Republic of China Peng Liyuan, the First Ladies of Turkey Emine Erdogan, Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, Mongolia Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia Anna Akopyan, Nepal Radhika Shakya and the Kingdom of Cambodia Peach Chanmoni took a boat trip along the Haihe River.

    The Haihe River, which flows through the Great Plain of China, has always played an important role in the history of the city of Tianjin. Fortresses were located at the mouth of the river in different periods, designed to protect the capital.

    The first ladies visited these fortresses. A theatrical performance was also organized. The importance of preserving cultural heritage, traditional arts and history was emphasized. All these are important factors in strengthening friendship and cooperation between peoples.

    Against the backdrop of natural landscapes, the First Ladies discussed strengthening friendly ties between the peoples of the two countries.

    On the same day, the First Lady of Uzbekistan visited the largest art and historical museum in Tianjin. This cultural object has the status of a museum of the first category of the PRC. He combined exhibits from the former Historical Museum and the Museum of Art in his collection. Its new building includes exhibition halls, storage facilities and research centers. The museum's collection includes about 218,000 items, and most of the exhibits are listed as "valuable cultural relics."

    The distinguished guest was presented with three main permanent exhibitions "Ancient Tianjin", "One Hundred Years of Chinese Culture in Tianjin" and "Yaoshi Treasures - a wonderful exhibition of cultural relics", telling about the historical significance of Tianjin and its history.

    The museum's collection includes more than 60 sets of the most representative art objects.: antique bronze, jade, calligraphy and painting, porcelain.

    On the same day, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva arrived in Beijing with the President of Uzbekistan.
